Introduction to The Home of Mercy

God’s love is here

The Home of Mercy

Home for AIDS patients and infants
Providing a home and shelter with love, acceptance, and care

The Garden of Mercy Foundation was officially founded in September 1999 and its residential care facility for HIV patients (The Home of Mercy) was established in 2000 to offer, in the spirit of Jesus Christ, homeless terminal AIDS patients a secluded and quiet place to live in, to provide care for body, mind, and soul, to help patients obtain safe medical care, spiritual solace, and support from family, friends, and society as a whole.

In light of public fear and rejection of AIDS patients that has led to unjust treatment of AIDS patients, t
he Garden of Mercy Foundation decided to establish the The Home of Mercy as a residential care facility, providing hospice and home care. The Home provides HIV patients and infants with physical, mental, and spiritual care to help them obtain better lives, spiritual solace, family support, and communal care.

The Home of Mercy Adult Care Center

Designed to provide residential care for terminal AIDS patients and to serve as a bridge between the community and medical providers, the Garden of Mercy Foundation started with just twelve beds, providing loving humanitarian care that highlights respect for the individual.

The Home of Mercy Infant Center

Designed to provide care for newborns to infants up to six-months old suspected of HIV infection. We have six beds to provide professional care and HIV prevention drug treatment to lower death rates among HIV infants and enhance the quality of their lives.
